Hanging with the boys at 2009 team camp

Well-one great weekend, from riding, dinner, or just hanging out at the condo. I feel very lucky to have such great friends and teammates. I really look forward to hanging out and racing with such a great group. Few notes from the weekend, or my thoughts of each of my teammates who made it to camp:
Hogan-impressive ride Saturday but the image of the towel on your head was a classic. Thanks for the all the laughs, Cale's phone will never be the same.
Jeremy-You have one strong engine, all I can say is watch out for him in 2009, very impressive. Great hanging out with you--your a great fit to this team, good hanging out Friday.
Jerred-gets comment of the weekend "I AM BLOWN" I learn more about pro cycling everytime I am around you. Great work this weekend!!
Skip-Very, Very impressive--finished each ride and looked good. We will see him moving up soon. Stick with processed food, don't listen to Cale
Cale-Always strong, sprint king on Saturday but did lose to Hogan at the finish, Thanks for working with Pickle and cooking such an awesome breakfast Sunday. Your a Great teammate!
Thanks to everyone for helping out and making our first team camp a great one....

Are you serious?????

Yes! I went on my first deer hunt Sunday at my cousin Fred's place down by Saddlebrook. My business partner Jim and I headed down Sunday afternoon so Jim could see Fred's place, which is awesome!!

Jim and I hit the tree stands around 2:30 thinking the deer might come out early but of course my first hunt and we saw no deer. It was a good experience and I look forward to future hunts..

Did get in some good riding this weekend and a light workout with Brandon on Saturday morning.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!

My Little girl walking the runway

Alexa had her first modeling show Saturday downtown and she did great. Kim and I were very proud of her and the way she handled herself. Great job Alexa!!!

Riding this weekend was one extreme to another, Saturday I went for two hours in the 25 degree wind chill. Got sleeted on in Strafford and was able to make it home without being frozen.
Sunday it was close to 50 degrees better weather for riding. Went out around 12:15 and my coach wanted me to do a winter 20 minute field test and was surprised to better my numbers from my last one.. Then headed over to Hickory to meet the guys but I guess Cale, Jim and JB forget to text the rest of us--selfish!! Met up with Bud and we got in a good two hour base ride and I ended the day with a good three hours.. All in all got some good time on the bike this weekend.

The Eagles and opening of JQH arena

Kim and I went to the Eagles concert last night to open the new JQH arena. First the new arena is one of the best in the country. Second the Eagles were AWESOME!! Played for over three hours and the concert was incredible. I would go to see them again in a heartbeat.. If you love music try to see this concert.. Great night, something Springfield will never forget..

Offseason--Cold windy rides

Well its offseason and starting to get into cold rides. Myself, Jim and JB headed out for a good three hour cold one Saturday. I dont think I warmed up until Sunday morning. Sunday it was Mudhouse house at 12:30 and off for two hours with Skip, Jim and JB. Got a good ride in and it was not near as cold as Saturday..

My wife Kim had her birthday on Sunday. We made it a birthday weekend starting Friday with dinner downtown and then the artwalk. Great to see downtown Springfield with so many people walking around. I hope it continues to grow and more families head down for a movie and dinner..We ended the weekend with dinner Sunday night at Avanzares with my parents, some good wine and food.
